What We Believe
We believe and teach accordingly that the Bible is the inspired, written revelation of God to man.
Reaching kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him.
Our Primary Goal …
from Pastor Kyle Mangum
Being created in the image of God, we were designed from the beginning to live in a relationship with Him as Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden. However, sin has separated us from God, severing our relationship with our Creator (Romans 3:23). Though we all deserve just punishment for our sin, God’s love is greater in that He sent His Son Jesus to pay the debt that we owe but could not pay ourselves. Those who put their faith in Him will have pardon from their sin and spend eternity with Him. (Romans 6:23, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Even though this is all that’s required for us to receive saving grace and be eternally His, the growth process as a believer requires much devotion and effort. I believe that Jesus made this clear when He was asked, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:36-40).
Through this proclamation it’s made clear that our objective as Christians is to love (I Corinthians 13:1-7), that is, love God, as well as love and serve one another. And we can only do this because He first loved us (I John 4:19). Therefore, here at NCF, it is our primary goal to love and glorify the Lord in all that we think, say, and do (1 Corinthians 10:31).
