I CORINTHIANS 12:11
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.
I PETER 4:10
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
ISAIAH 46:5-7
To whom would you liken Me And make Me equal and compare Me,That we would be alike? Those who lavish gold from the purse And weigh silver on the scale Hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; They bow down, indeed they worship it. They lift it upon the shoulder and carry it; They set it in its place and it stands there. It does not move from its place. Though one may cry to it, it cannot answer; It cannot deliver him from his distress.
I THESSALONIANS 1:9
For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God.
I CORINTHIANS 14:37-38
If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment. But if anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.
SCRIPTURE TEXT—I CORINTHIANS 12:1-3
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware. You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
